Paw-Rump Rehab & Rescue wants everyone to be able to use this website. We build and test our pages against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

  • Text and background colors that meet AA contrast ratios
  • Keyboard access to every link, button, and form field, with a visible focus ring
  • A skip-to-content link at the top of every page
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images and labels on every form field
  • Headings in a logical order and semantic landmarks for screen readers
  • Layouts that work on phones, tablets, and desktops, and support browser zoom

Third-party content

Our adoption listings and maps come from outside providers. We do not control their code, but we will help you get the same information another way.
