About Us
Mission
Paw-Rump Rehab & Rescue’s mission is to prevent unnecessary euthanasia due to medical or behavioral issues while improving rescued animals’ quality of life.
We focus on medical cost assistance, exemplary housing, and behavior-based care while educating the public to raise care standards and promote compassionate, informed pet guardianship.
Intake Policy
We prioritize animals from shelters and rescues at risk of euthanasia. Community surrenders are accepted on a case-by-case basis, depending on space and need.
About Us
Paw-Rump Rehab & Rescue (PRRR) is a small but mighty rescue based in Pahrump, Nevada, dedicated to giving animals the second chance they deserve.
At PRRR, we focus on saving lives that might otherwise be lost. Our intake process is geared toward helping animals at risk of euthanasia—whether they’re coming from overcrowded shelters, partner rescues, or crisis situations where their time is running out. We're proud to be a safety net for those with medical or behavioral challenges who might not make it elsewhere.
We work closely with JAM Veterinary Services, and are fortunate to have the clinic’s owner, Dr. Jam, on our board of directors. This partnership allows us to provide high-quality veterinary care to the animals we take in—from emergency treatments to routine wellness—and make decisions rooted in expertise and compassion.
Our approach follows Fear Free principles, meaning we go out of our way to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in every animal’s care. Whether it’s medical treatment, training, or just daily interaction, we treat our animals with patience, kindness, and respect. They are family here until they find a family of their own.
